Having a nice garden contributes to the well-being of our tenants. Looking after your garden is your responsibility, but if you need assistance or repairs, whether due to time constraints, health reasons, or any other factors, we’re here to help.

How can we help

Our grounds maintenance, estates and repairs teams can help with the following:

• Mending fences and garden walls
• Repairing paths and patios that have become dangerous or uneven
• Fixing shed doors and roofs

Problem gardens

Sometimes people don’t take care of their gardens and they can become an unsightly health hazard. If you spot a problem garden, please let us know.

Please note, if we get called to sort out your garden by environmental health officers, we may charge you for the work. If you are struggling to look after your garden or dispose of waste properly, it’s much better to talk to us before things get out of control. We’re here to listen and here to help.

How long will it take

We will aim to repair unsafe patios and pathways within 20 days. Other garden jobs will take a little longer – between six and twelve months – because they are not usually urgent.
