Summer is here, and we’re inviting you to join us for the Best Summer Ever!

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing lots of fun ideas to help you enjoy everything our communities have to offer. The best part? Many of the activities are free or low cost, so everyone can get involved.

We’ll be travelling across our communities, meeting local people, visiting events and discovering hidden gems. Along the way, we’ll be chatting to residents, hearing your stories and taking part in fun activities that make our neighbourhoods special.

T-Fest on the Road

This summer, we’re taking T-Fest out into our communities and joining six fantastic community events across Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Following a brilliant response to our competition, six events have been chosen by staff and tenants, that celebrate everything that’s great about our local communities. From fun activities and entertainment to bringing neighbours together.

We’ll be there to join in the fun, meet local people and celebrate what makes each community special.

Take on our Adventure Around the Valleys competition

We’re giving families the chance to win an Adventure Across the Valleys and create their perfect summer day out.

We’re looking for creative ideas that make the most of local travel links, attractions, free activities and community experiences. Tell us where you’d go, the journey you’d take and what would make it an unforgettable family adventure.

Winning families will receive travel on eligible Transport for Wales train services using a Valleys Day Pass, along with spending money to support activities and refreshments throughout the day.

Families will also be asked to capture and share their adventure as part of our Best Summer Ever campaign, helping to inspire others to explore the great experiences available across our communities.

We’ll be sharing the details on how to enter very soon.

Every community has amazing people, places and stories, and we want to celebrate them.

Throughout the summer we’ll be out and about visiting different areas, speaking to residents, dropping into community events and finding out what makes each neighbourhood unique.
