My Trivallis

What a summer of T-Fest

7 October 2026

This year, T-Fest went on the road, but we did things a little differently. Instead of Trivallis deciding what each event should look like, we gave local community groups the money and support to create something that worked for their area.

What a summer it’s been.

This year, T-Fest went on the road, but we did things a little differently. Instead of Trivallis deciding what each event should look like, we gave local community groups the money and support to create something that worked for their area.

And you really made it your own.

From family fun days and festivals to music, games, food and activities, communities across RCT came together to celebrate the people and places that make them special.

We saw neighbours catching up, families making memories, children getting stuck into activities and local groups showing just how much they can achieve when people come together.

For us, one of the best parts was simply being there.

Our teams got to spend time with residents away from the usual day-to-day conversations about homes and services. We chatted, played games, took photos, helped out and, in some cases, got involved in a few very enthusiastic inflatable activities.

We also started building something together.

Our travelling Welsh dragon collected messages and memories from people at each event about what they love about where they live and what they hope for their community. Every new scale added to the dragon became part of its story.

And the message from residents was clear: community matters.

Things don’t always go exactly to plan, and one of our planned events had to be cancelled. But that’s part of working with real communities.

Thank you to everyone who came along, volunteered, organised an event, added a dragon scale, played a game, shared a smile or simply stopped for a chat.

You made T-Fest what it was.

And this summer has shown us something really important: when local people have the space, support and confidence to lead, amazing things can happen.
