Turning waste into art at Trivallis’ Pontypridd Head Office

This Recycling Week, we are shining a spotlight on the creative potential of everyday waste.

Visitors to our Pontypridd head office and the public will notice a striking new window display made entirely from recycled materials. We will be using metal cans, takeaway coffee cups, crisp packets, the lot! The creation of this art piece shows how items that might usually be thrown away can be transformed into something bold and meaningful.

The artwork is eye catching and something different to what typically you’d imagine. It’s designed to spark conversations about sustainability and how we can all play a role in reducing waste.

As part of the project, we are also inviting tenants to express their interest for a workshop that would look at practical ways to reuse materials. The session will be an opportunity to share ideas and discover small changes that can make a big difference in everyday life.

By combining creativity with recycling, we hope to inspire people to look at waste in a new way. Rather than something to be discarded, it can become a resource that can be reimagined and reused.
