Share your thanks and spread some kindness

12 February 2025

There’s no better feeling than when someone says thank you for even the smallest of things, so we’d love to help you spread that feeling around.

Random Acts of Kindness Day takes place on 17 February, and we thought what better way to mark the occasion than by sharing a kind thank you to someone who has made a difference.

There’s no better feeling than when someone says thank you for even the smallest of things, so we’d love to help you spread that feeling around.

We would love to hear who you would like to say thank you to and for what reason. Whether that’s a staff member, someone in your community, a neighbour or a loved one, we want to help you pass on that kindness

So, what are we asking?

For you to record yourself saying thank you to the person that you would like to celebrate and let us know why in the video.

Just a reminder that when you’re filming, remember to:

  • Hold your phone at a suitable distance, so that we can see your shoulders up, making sure your face is in the video and that you’re not cutting yourself out.
  • Film in portrait mode.
  • Film in a quiet spot, so that your voice can be heard clearly.
  • Keep your thank you message short and sweet.
  • Be mindful of the details you are sharing in your message.

Sharing your thanks

Send us your video through direct message on Facebook or Instagram, and we’ll share them to our stories on Random Acts of Kindness Day.

We can’t wait to hear all of your messages.

We’ll start things off by saying one big pre-emptive thankyou to everyone who gets involved.

THANKS!
