Maes Y Deri – your estate needs you!

Do you live in Maes Y Deri, Aberdare? If so, we’re holding a Great Estate Day on 23 May.

A team of Trivallis staff will be partnering with RCT Council Cleansing Team to tidy up the area, cut the grass, remove waste and help you to love where you live.  We’ll even have a skip to help with bulky waste item removals.

That’s not all because we can’t do this by ourselves. We need your support on the day (and afterwards) to help keep the place clean and give it some TLC.

Last year we held two Great Estate days in other areas and they were greatly received by the community. Now we want to work with the community in Maes Y Deri and give you a helping hand to make your estate a place you’re proud to call home.

On the day, there will be plenty for you to get involved with including litter picking and removing bulky waste items. It promises to be a fun day that will leave the area looking great.

We are also inviting children from the local school to get involved with litter picking on the day.

You’ll be able to chat to members of Trivallis staff and councillors about any questions you may have or further improvements you would like to see in the area.

We will be partnering with local businesses and key stakeholders to help deliver the Great Estate Day.

Special thanks goes to The Jubilee Coffee & Bread Shop who will be helping keep people refreshed. Tesco Llantrisant who have provided some free seed packets to give away and to Tom Pritchard of Pritchard’s who have provided us with a large skip free of charge.

So, mark your calendars and roll up your sleeves, and let’s work together to make Maes Y Deri a Great Estate.
