Tenants Together report shows the power of resident involvement

27 August 2026

Residents across Trivallis communities have helped shape services, influence decisions and lead positive change, according to the newly published Tenants Together – Impact Report 2026.

The report highlights a year of tenant-led action, with 981 residents taking part in conversations that influenced services and communities. Together, tenants helped shape 23 policies and service approaches, contributed more than 1,200 volunteer hours and supported improvements across 26 communities.

The report showcases how residents have worked alongside Trivallis teams to improve services, including helping to design the Report It repairs app, influencing approaches to damp and mould, reviewing rent and service charge policies, and supporting community investment decisions.

It also shares examples of tenant-led change in local communities, from environmental improvement projects to practical solutions that improved fire safety and made better use of existing community assets.

A key theme throughout the report is the growing role tenants play in shaping decisions. Through the Tenant Action Panel, working groups and community activities, residents have moved beyond being consulted to becoming active partners in improving homes, services and neighbourhoods.

The report also sets out priorities for the year ahead, including increasing opportunities for community-led decision making, strengthening tenant scrutiny and supporting more tenant leaders to get involved.
