Cabinet Secretary for Housing visits Cae Fardre Community Hub

The Cae Fardre Community Hub has become a much-loved space since opening last year, and this month it welcomed the Cabinet Secretary for Housing and Local Government, Jayne Bryant.  She joined volunteers, local tenants and Trivallis staff to hear first-hand about the difference the Hub is making in the community.

During her visit, the Cabinet Secretary spoke with those involved about how the Hub supports families with activities, food, and a safe space to connect. The discussion also looked ahead, with conversations on how exactly it was set up and whether or not similar models could be introduced in other communities to bring people together.

“It was such a pleasure to visit the Cae Fardre Community Hub and learn about its journey and how it’s supporting local people. It is clear that the Hub is really helping to strengthen the local community.”

The visit was an opportunity to celebrate the dedication of local volunteers and the positive change already happening in Cae Fardre, while also looking forward to how this success could inspire other communities across the region.
