Trivallis picks up two trophies at the Welsh Housing Awards

13 December 2024

We were absolutely delighted to pick up two trophies for important frontline work with some of our most vulnerable tenants.

It was a glittering night at the 2024 Welsh Housing Awards on Thursday 12 December, as 300 housing professionals came together to celebrate the best and brightest stars of the sector.

We were absolutely delighted to pick up two trophies for important frontline work with some of our most vulnerable tenants.

Category: Excellence in housing innovation

Winner: DAHA accreditation for domestic abuse cases at Trivallis

Category: Excellence in health and wellbeing

Winner: MAGPIE hoarding support project

Many congratulations to everyone involved in these two projects, especially Lianne Bulford, Jess Barrow, Clare Jones and Richard Thomas in the Community Safety team; Claire Overd, Sarah Roderick and the STEPS team who deliver MAGPIE.

As the awards host said when presenting one of our trophies, this is absolutely vital work and everyone in the sector should be taking a close look at the Trivallis approach!

We were finalists in four other categories:

  • Working in Partnership: Transformative Partnership Initiative at Cae Fardre Estate
  • Excellence in Tenant Scrutiny: Tenant Involvement
  • Housing Team of the Year: Health and Safety Forum
  • Campaign of the Year: Warm and Well

Whilst it is lovely to celebrate our successes with a glamorous event in Cardiff, the awards also have a serious purpose. They highlight excellent or innovative practice, which directly impacts the homes and services experienced by tenants, residents and communities. Everyone at Trivallis feels very proud to be recognised by our peers for the work we do making a difference to the lives of our tenants and communities.
