Hawthorn – Your Community Needs You!

Do you live in or around Glanfelin Flats in Hawthorn? Join us on 14 November for a Great Estate Day, a day for all of us to come together, connect, and make a real difference in our shared community.  

This day isn’t just about tidying up – it’s about strengthening the great community spirit that already exists in Hawthorn. Let’s celebrate what makes our area special and work together to make it even better! 

Your voice matters

We’ll be at St Luke’s Church from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with free food and refreshments for everyone! While you enjoy a bite to eat, take a moment to chat with us about what matters most to you and your neighbours. This is your chance to share the changes you’d love to see in Hawthorn and to chat with staff from Trivallis, RCT Council Enforcement, and local councillors about any ideas or questions you have. 

Make a real difference

A team from Trivallis will be joining forces with RCT Council to kick-start the day by clearing and sprucing up the area, but the real difference comes from us all working together! From trimming green spaces to improving shared areas, your involvement is key to making a lasting impact. We’ve seen incredible results in other neighbourhoods when residents come together like this – now it’s Hawthorn’s turn. We’ll be there to support you with advice, guidance, and a helping hand when needed, but it’s the community’s energy that keeps this momentum going long after the day ends.

Interlink will also be at the event, sharing advice and resources to help you keep your home warm and energy-efficient this winter – come along to learn more and get prepared!
