Park View Action Day makes a big impact

7 February 2026

A successful joint Action Day took place in Park View on 6 February 2026, bringing together our teams and partners from the local authority to make a real difference to the estate.

Colleagues from the Estates Team, Community Housing (Tracy Harrison) and Customer Involvement (Lucy Lloyd) worked alongside RCTCBC’s Cleansing, Enforcement and Awareness Teams for a full day of intensive clean‑up and environmental improvement activities.

Together, the teams removed a significant amount of bulky waste and garden rubbish from around the estate — around seven lorry loads, totalling approximately 3.5 tonnes. They also jet‑washed railings, cleared and grubbed out overgrown pathways, and ensured all roads and pavements were thoroughly swept. The combined effort helped restore shared areas and improve access and safety for residents.

A big thank you goes to Nicholas Harries from RCTCBC Streetcare for his swift organisation and support. His ability to mobilise teams quickly meant we could make the most of the day and achieve so much in a short space of time. This effective partnership working delivered a noticeable environmental improvement for the community.

Tracy has already received positive feedback and thanks from several tenants, who have commented on the difference the clean‑up has made to the look and feel of the estate. Thank you to everyone involved for your hard work and teamwork in helping keep Park View a cleaner, safer and more welcoming place for residents.
