Penygraig site progress back on track

We’re back on site in Penygraig, and happy to share that construction is now progressing well on our development of 27 new sustainable homes at the former junior school site.

We’re back on site in Penygraig, and happy to share that construction is now progressing well on our development of 27 new sustainable homes at the former junior school site.

While the project experienced earlier delays, momentum is picking up. In partnership with Cartrefi, we’re delivering a mix of 1-bed flats, 2 and 3-bed houses, and adapted bungalows, all designed to meet the Welsh Government’s WDQR standards.

  • Timber frames are in place
  • Brickwork and internal works underway
  • Aiming for completion in early 2026

This is our first gas-free development, with every home powered by air source heat pumps and equipped with solar PV — a major step toward greener living.

A huge thank you to RCT Council and the Welsh Government for their continued support via the Social Housing Grant.
