Small community grant scheme launched for Trivallis areas

Grant overview:

• Grants range from £100 to £2,250 per housing area.
• Funding can be allocated to one group or shared among multiple groups.
• All funds must be used by 31 March 2025.

Who can apply:

• Community groups that include Trivallis tenants.
• Groups should be open, inclusive, have a constitution, bank account, and safeguarding policy (support available if needed).

Application deadline:

• Apply by 8 November 2024.
• Grants will be assessed by mid-November.

How you can use the grant:

• Funding is available for projects that meet your community’s needs, such as equipment, events, or wellbeing initiatives – whatever you and your community most need to help you make a positive difference.
• In return, we ask that you connect with Trivallis’ Community Involvement Team to help spark discussions on community strengths, concerns, and actions.

Grant principles:

• Community-led and people-focused
• Strength-based and enabling
• Building confidence and skills for positive action

What we fund:

• Whatever is most helpful for your community.

What we don’t fund:

• Competitive bids within the same area (encourage collaboration).
• Religious, political, or non-aligned activities (religious organisations can apply for non-religious activities).

Post-grant requirements: After receiving your grant, share how it helped identify community strengths, concerns, and actions, and how many people were involved in the conversations.
