Putting IT to good use at Ysgol Afon Wen

Pupils at Ysgol Afon Wen are set to benefit from a donation of 15 refurbished Dell laptops.

The laptops, which have all been fitted with brand new storage drives, set up with Windows Pro and PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) tested chargers, will be used both in school and at home to support pupils with their learning.

Deputy Headteacher Sarah Brewer joined some of the school’s Year 7 pupils to accept the laptops and said the donation will make a real difference.

By providing recycled hardware for schools, groups and families it is part of our overall commitment to supporting local communities. We’re hoping to build a relationship with local communities, groups, and schools to continue to provide recycled hardware for use.
