My Trivallis

Tidy House, Tidy Mind

Do you find it hard to let go of things in your home? Does everything feel like it holds special meaning or value? You’re not alone – and the MAGPIE Project is here to help.

We understand that parting with belongings can be emotional and overwhelming. That’s why we work with you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and habits around clutter. Change takes time, and we’re here to support you at your own pace.

Whether you want to get more organised or start letting go of items you no longer need, we’ll be by your side. Our support is completely free, and we’ll work with you for as long as you need.

Why declutter?

A cluttered home can affect your health and safety. Too many items can:

  • Increase the risk of trips, falls, or being trapped
  • Create fire hazards
  • Lead to unhygienic living conditions

Decluttering can help you feel more in control, safer, and more comfortable in your space.

Signs you might need support

You may benefit from help if:

  • You can’t use or access parts of your home
  • Your belongings are disorganised
  • Most items have little or no value
  • You have an unusually large number of pets
  • You avoid socialising or inviting people over
  • You find it difficult to throw anything away

Supporting someone else

If you know someone who may be struggling with clutter:

  • Encourage them to seek help – invite the MAGPIE Project team for a friendly chat
  • Learn more about the issue to better understand their experience
  • Offer support if they ask for it
  • Celebrate their progress – positive feedback can go a long way

Trivallis Housing Landlord Wales A group of people dressed in formal attire are posing together in a banquet hall. The room is dimly lit with pink and blue lighting, and there are decorations like a disco ball and chandeliers. The atmosphere appears to be celebratory.
